RSPCA Cymru has a dedicated External Relations Department to liaise with external stakeholders such as member of the National Assembly for Wales, Welsh Government and Local Authorities.
There are also approximately 30 RSPCA Inspectors operating across Wales. They provide 24-hour care for animals in need; investigating cruelty complaints, giving help and advice on animal care, carrying out rescues and, where necessary, bringing perpetrators of cruelty to court. Many politicians have experienced, first hand, their work by undertaking Ride-Along Days.
RSPCA Cymru operates two Animal Centres in Wales – at Bryn-Y-Maen and Newport, whilst a Branch operates an independent Centre in Swansea.
